Coca-Cola’s European operations announced that half of all PET bottles now contain recycled plastic, marking a milestone for the company’s sustainability strategy.

Coca-Cola Europe has reached a major sustainability goal: 50% recycled content in all its plastic bottles across EU markets.
This achievement aligns with the company’s commitment to make all packaging recyclable by 2030.

The initiative includes the expansion of closed-loop PET recycling plants and long-term agreements with European recyclers.
Coca-Cola also announced it will phase out colored PET bottles to improve recyclability rates and material quality.
