Ecomondo 2025, organised by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) in Rimini between 4–7 November, registered a +7% overall attendance increase and a +10% rise in international visitors. The fair occupied 166,000 sqm, with over 200 conferences and workshops, confirming its position as Europe’s leading event for circular economy technologies.

For the plastics and recycling sector, several themes stood out:
– Plastics recycling and WEEE: recycling systems for plastics derived from electronics waste and critical raw materials gained major visibility.
– International cooperation: delegations from 65 countries and 3,800 recorded business matchings show a rapidly globalising sector.
