Dutch startup AgroPlastBio has launched a new production line of bioplastics based on agricultural residues such as straw. These materials have properties similar to polyethylene and can be used in packaging and technical parts. The process cuts CO₂ emissions by up to 60% compared to conventional polymers. The company aims to expand to Germany, France, and Eastern Europe, positioning itself as a viable alternative for industries seeking sustainable materials.
